This small Parker-Hale thread adaptor lets you run American-thread cleaning brushes, jags and other implements on a Parker-Hale .270 (and above) rifle cleaning rod. Parker-Hale rods use their own UK thread, so American Standard 8-32 accessories will not fit straight onto them; this adaptor bridges the two, screwing onto the rod at one end and accepting 8-32 male-threaded accessories at the other. For the deer stalker or rifle shooter who already owns a Parker-Hale rod but wants to use the wider range of 8-32 brushes, mops and jags on the market, it saves buying a second rod set.
