The Beretta Micro Core Competition Sporting recoil pad is a thin 13mm buttpad that fits onto the stock of a 12-gauge competition shotgun to soften felt recoil through a long day of clays. Rather than conventional rubber, it is moulded from an open-cell technopolymer that is softer, lighter and more slippery, so it slides cleanly into the shoulder as you mount the gun and then expands to spread the recoil across a wider area for secure, repeatable support. The slim 13mm profile keeps length of pull close to a hard heel plate, which suits skeet and sporting shooters who want recoil reduction without altering their gun fit. It is shaped for a straight competition stock ending of 13.6cm and is designed to fit recent Beretta sporting and competition models, including the 686, 687, 688 and 694 over-and-unders and the A400 semi-autos. It will not fit field-type stocks measuring 12.6cm, curved stocks, or the older S55, A301, A302 and ASE90 actions, so check your stock type before ordering.
