Birchwood Casey Gun Stock Clear Sealer & Filler is a fast-drying, clear grain filler and moisture sealer for wooden gun stocks, supplied in a 3oz bottle. It fills the open pores of the wood and seals out moisture in a single easy application, giving a smooth, closed-grain surface ready for finishing. Because it dries clear, you can follow it with your stain of choice or leave the timber in its natural tone before moving on to a topcoat such as Birchwood Casey's Tru-Oil Gun Stock Finish, for which the Sealer & Filler is designed as the first step. It is straightforward to apply with a cloth or brush and dries quickly between coats, making it a practical choice for anyone refinishing or restoring a rifle or shotgun stock at home or in the workshop. A useful addition to the kit bag for stalkers and shooters who like to keep their own woodwork in good order between seasons.
