Birchwood Casey's Premium Gun Cleaning Kit is a complete rod-and-brush kit built to cover handguns, rifles, shotguns and AR-15s from one case, so there's no need for a separate kit per calibre. Ten bronze bore brushes run from .22 and .25 through .270, .30, .38/9mm, .40/10mm and .45 calibre, plus 12-gauge, 20-gauge and .410 shotgun, backed by five cotton mops in the most-used calibres and gauges for applying solvent and oil. Seventy-five non-woven cleaning patches in three sizes (1.5", 2.0" and 3.0") handle everything from a pistol bore to a 12-gauge barrel, and a bronze and a nylon utility brush cover general cleaning away from the bore itself. Three solid brass cleaning rods — a T-handled rod plus two extension sections — thread onto brass adapters and nylon patch holders sized for both 5/16-27 and 8-32 thread fittings, so the kit also works with rods and jags from other makers. It's a sensible one-box solution for anyone with more than one gun in the cabinet, with everything kept together and ready to grab.
