Birchwood Casey Super Blue Liquid Gun Blue is a fast-acting, double-strength cold blue for touching up worn bluing or carrying out a complete reblue on steel firearm parts. Supplied in a 3 fl oz plastic bottle, it produces a deep, blue-black finish and is formulated to work on highly polished steel as well as hardened steels containing nickel and chrome alloys. It is quick to apply with a swab or brush, making it a handy way to cover scratches, holster wear and small blemishes on barrels, actions and other metal components without a full professional reblue. As with any cold blue, the area to be treated should be thoroughly degreased first for the best bond and depth of colour, and application should be kept confined to the section being touched up. Not suitable for use on stainless steel. A straightforward, no-nonsense product for anyone maintaining firearms at home or in the workshop, from a brand long trusted for gun care.
