These Bisley .22 blanks are made specifically for use in a dummy launcher, giving gundog trainers a safe way to send a training dummy well beyond hand-throwing range during retrieving work. They are for launcher use only and must never be used in a firearm or a blank firer. Green Light is the lowest-power option in Bisley's three-colour range, sending a dummy up to around 100ft — enough for building steadiness and marking work at closer distances without the noise and recoil of the stronger loads. Yellow (Medium) and Red (Strong) blanks are also available where greater range is needed, up to 175ft and 250ft respectively, though actual distance depends on the launcher used. Supplied in a box of 100, these are a straightforward, cost-effective way to keep a training programme stocked up. As with any blank-firing accessory, the launcher should be cleaned regularly to clear gunpowder residue and keep it running reliably.
