This is a Bisley screw-in choke tube for 12-bore Lincoln shotguns, giving a 1/2 (half) constriction in the standard 50mm long fitting. Fitting a half choke tightens the shot pattern compared to a more open cylinder or improved-cylinder choke, producing a denser pattern at typical driven game and clay ranges — a sensible middle-ground choice for pheasant, partridge and general game shooting where birds are presenting at medium distance. Made to Bisley's usual standard for fit and finish, this tube screws directly into the muzzle of Lincoln 12-bore shotguns designed to accept interchangeable chokes, and a choke key is needed to fit and remove it. Bisley's Lincoln choke range covers the full spread of constrictions — from 1/4 through to full and extra-full — in both standard and 50mm long lengths, so shooters can tune their pattern to the discipline and the birds in front of them.
