Bisley Rifle Rod .270 Male Yellow Black Handle 37in
S5000
- Bisley one-piece rifle cleaning rod for .270 calibre and upwards
- Hardened and tempered steel core with tough acetate coating
- Ball-bearing handle spins freely so brushes follow the rifling
- Brass fittings resist corrosion at the working end
- Male Parker-Hale pattern thread fits standard jags, mops and brushes
- 37in length suited to most centrefire rifle barrels
- Yellow rod with black handle marks it as a larger-calibre rod
Bisley's one-piece rifle cleaning rod follows the same proven design as the Parker-Hale rods it's built alongside: a hardened and tempered steel core wrapped in a tough acetate coating, so bare metal never touches the rifling as the rod passes down the bore. The ball-bearing handle spins freely, letting a brush or jag follow the barrel's twist instead of dragging across the lands, and brass fittings at the working end resist corrosion. Finished as a yellow rod with a black handle, the standard colour code for .270 calibre and upwards, this rod is 37 inches long, enough for a clean single-stroke pass through most centrefire rifle barrels. The male thread is cut to the Parker-Hale pattern, so it takes Parker-Hale jags, mops and brushes directly without needing an adapter. A solid, well-made rod for anyone maintaining a .270 or larger-calibre rifle who wants a straightforward, no-fuss cleaning tool.
