The Bisley Scope Maximiser is a moulded rubber eyecup that push-fits over the ocular lens of a riflescope, sealing gently against the shooter's face to block out ambient light from the side. By cupping the eye and shutting out this exterior light, it forces the eye to adjust and draw the maximum amount of light through the scope, giving a clearer, more consistent sight picture in low light. Bisley's own testing suggests it can extend usable shooting time into twilight by up to fifteen minutes, useful for stalkers working the last light of the day. The flexible rubber body is designed as a one-size-fits-all fitting, with Bisley stating it suits around 98% of scopes, and it can be twisted forward or back along the scope tube to set correct eye relief. It is also suited to spectacle wearers. A simple, inexpensive accessory for anyone wanting to get the most from their optics as light fades.
