This Bisley whistle is carved from genuine buffalo horn and gives you two distinct tones in one compact tool, with a different pitch produced from each end. That versatility makes it a favourite with gundog handlers, letting you use a high note for recall and a lower note for stop or sit, or run two dogs at once on separate commands. Each whistle is individually carved from natural horn, so colour and grain vary slightly piece to piece, giving it a traditional look that's a world away from a plastic training whistle. A durable cord runs through the middle so it can be worn around the neck, keeping it to hand in the field or at training without fear of losing it in long cover. Compact, robust and simple to use, it suits spaniel and retriever training alike, and works just as well for general working-dog control on a shoot day. A practical, no-nonsense piece of kit for anyone who trains or works gundogs.
