The Richter Optik Crystal 4x40 is a compact, fixed-magnification riflescope built for airgun and rimfire shooters who want a straightforward, no-frills sight. The 4x magnification and 40mm objective lens give a clear, bright sightpicture for typical airgun ranges, with a Mil-Dot reticle for simple holdover reference and finger-adjustable turrets under protective caps for windage and elevation. The tube and housing are high-strength aluminium alloy with anti-corrosion treatment, and the lenses carry an anti-reflective coating for improved light transmission in dull conditions. The scope is fog-proof, shock-resistant and rated anti-vibration, so it holds zero under the recoil of a spring or gas-ram air rifle. Flip-up lens covers are included to keep the glass protected between outings. A sensible, honestly specified scope for anyone kitting out an air rifle or rimfire for pest control, plinking or garden shooting, from a brand with a long history in the UK airgun trade.
