The Parker-Hale Double Male Conversion is a simple, cost-effective way to fit a 1/2in UNF threaded moderator to a barrel that has an internal (female) 1/2in UNF thread, without paying a gunsmith for re-threading work. Screw the adaptor into the barrel's internal thread and it leaves you with an external male 1/2in UNF thread ready to take your sound moderator. It is a genuine Parker-Hale accessory, built to the maker's standard 1/2in UNF specification throughout, so it mates directly with the wide range of moderators and barrels already using this common UK thread. For stalkers and shooters who want to add a moderator to a female-threaded rifle, or who need a quick, reliable way to convert between matching 1/2in UNF fittings, this small steel adaptor does the job neatly and is easy to keep in a kit bag or cleaning pouch as a spare.
