The Hawke 1-Piece Adaptor Base Extended (model 22402) converts a 9-11mm or 3/8" dovetail rail to a Weaver/Picatinny rail in a single solid unit, with the extended-length design pushing your scope or accessory further forward than the standard base allows. That forward extension is useful when a standard-length base leaves you short of eye relief, or when fitting a larger objective bell that needs clearance over the action. The base clamps to the dovetail using four hex bolts (3mm Allen key, 8-32 thread) for a secure, repeatable lock-up with no movement once tightened. At 96g it adds very little to the overall rifle weight. Suitable for air rifles, rimfire and centrefire rifles fitted with a 9-11mm dovetail, it accepts any scope rings or accessories built to the Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny standard.
