The Hawke 50mm objective sunshade is a threaded metal tube that fits the objective bell of compatible Hawke riflescopes, reducing glare and cutting internal reflections in bright or low-sun conditions. Scopes with a 50mm objective are often chosen for their low-light performance, and a sunshade complements this by managing stray light entering the front element from the side — preserving image contrast and reticle definition where it matters most. Measuring 4 inches (100mm) in length, it provides a substantial hood well-suited to open-country stalking and hill work. The shade is threaded at both ends, so additional shades can be stacked to build a longer hood, or Hawke flip-up lens covers can be attached to the front thread to protect the objective between uses. Compatible with Hawke's 2015 collection onwards. Please note that for pre-2019 Frontier riflescopes and pre-2015 Sidewinder riflescopes, thread adaptors are required.
