The Hornady Cam-Lock Case Trimmer Pilot #5 is a replacement and supplementary pilot for the Hornady Cam-Lock Case Trimmer, sized for .264-calibre (6.5 mm) cases. The pilot fits inside the case neck and centres the case mouth squarely on the cutter, ensuring a consistent, burr-free trim length every time. Pilots are interchangeable across the Hornady Cam-Lock Trimmer system, so reloaders working with multiple calibres can swap them quickly without tools. Pilot #5 is the correct number for .264-bore cartridges, covering rounds such as the 6.5×55 Swedish, 6.5 Creedmoor and .264 Winchester Magnum. For stalkers and long-range rifle shooters who reload their own brass, accurate case trimming is a prerequisite for consistent headspace, reliable chambering and repeatable accuracy — and the right pilot is what keeps the trimmer running true. Sold individually.
