The Marttiini Lynx 121 is a compact puukko-style fixed-blade knife from the Finnish knifemaker's traditional Lynx range, built around a smaller handle for anyone who finds a full-size Lynx a stretch in the hand. Despite the reduced scale it keeps the same balance and cutting geometry as the rest of the family: a 9cm stainless chrome steel blade that holds an edge well and is easy to touch up in the field. Marttiini's Lynx pattern was designed as a general outdoor and hunting knife, and the 121 carries that brief through to everyday tasks like carving dried salted meat and precise wood cutting - jobs that reward a light, well-balanced blade over a heavier hunting knife. The curly birch handle is a hallmark of Finnish puukko-making, shaped for a secure grip whether preparing food, cutting kindling or general camp and stalking work. It comes with a traditional leather sheath, worn on the belt in the Nordic style. At 20cm overall, it's a genuinely pocketable field knife rather than a showpiece - straightforward, functional and true to Marttiini's long-running Lynx design.
