Mil-Com's aluminium mess tin set is a straightforward two-piece cookware set based on the classic British Army pattern, and it earns its place in any stalking, camping or fieldcraft kit bag. Made from food-grade, corrosion-resistant aluminium, the set nests together for compact storage and comprises a large tin (approx. 18.5 x 13.5 x 6cm) and a smaller tin (approx. 16.5 x 13 x 5.5cm) that sits inside it. Both tins have folding handles so they pack away flat and stay cool enough to lift straight off a stove, and the larger tin doubles as a lid to speed up boiling and improve fuel efficiency when cooking over a hexi block or gas burner. Rounded corners make the tins easy to wipe out and clean after use in the field. Whether you're brewing up after a morning on the hill, cooking a proper meal at base camp, or just after a lightweight, durable mess set for scouting and bushcraft, this set does the job without any fuss or unnecessary weight.
