The Napier Moderator Cover in Large is a black neoprene sleeve that slips over the sound moderator on a stalking or vermin rifle, and it earns its place the moment you start moving through cover. A bare moderator is one of the noisiest things on a rifle: knock it against a fence post, a gate or a low branch and it rings like a tin can, sending every deer in earshot away before you have settled into a position. The neoprene wall cushions those knocks and kills that resonance, so you can work through woodland and undergrowth quietly. It also takes the shine off a metal moderator, helping you stay discreet against a hide or a backdrop, and the soft material is kind to rifle slips and the boot of the truck. The Large size measures 60 x 270mm, sized to suit longer, larger-diameter moderators, and it pulls on and off easily when you need to clean or store the unit. A simple, low-cost addition that quietly improves your fieldcraft.
