The Bisley Chamber Rod is a top-quality hardwood cleaning rod for the chamber and barrel of a shotgun, built to the standard set by the old Parker Hale hardwood rods it descends from. It measures 8 1/2 inches long, with a comfortable swelled hand grip and a threaded brass end fitting joined with solid, cross-riveted brass joints for durability. The brass thread is designed to take a Payne Galway cleaning brush across 12 to 28 bore, so one rod covers most shotgun chambers you're likely to be maintaining. Its short length makes it purpose-built for chamber and forcing-cone cleaning rather than running the full length of the barrel, letting you get a brush or mop into the chamber cleanly without risk of marking the bore. A straightforward, well-made bit of kit for anyone who looks after their own shotgun and wants the chamber kept properly clean between outings, from a brand with a long history in UK gun care accessories.
