This Parker-Hale one-piece rifle cleaning rod is built for .22 to .25 calibre rifles, with a 37" grey steel rod finished in a red handle for easy identification against Parker-Hale's other calibre options. The rod has a hardened and tempered steel core protected by a tough acetate coating, so it cannot mark or abrade the bore as it passes down the barrel. A ball-bearing handle lets the rod spin freely, allowing brushes and patches to follow the barrel's rifling rather than fight against it for a more thorough clean. Brass fittings at the working end give a male UK-spec thread (5/32" x 32 TPI BSW), ready to take Parker-Hale's own range of brushes, mops and jags, or a suitable adaptor for other fittings. Made in the UK by a name long trusted in rifle maintenance, it is a straightforward, durable choice for anyone keeping a .22–.25 calibre rifle properly maintained at home or in the gun cabinet.
