The Napier Pistol Rod .30+ is a cleaning rod sized for larger-calibre pistols and revolvers, from .30 upwards. Made in England by Napier of London, it is superbly finished with brass sections and a one-piece turned anodised aluminium handle, giving a solid, comfortable grip for repeated use. Brass is softer than the steel of a barrel, so it cleans the bore without scoring or wearing it, whichever patch, mop or brush you run through. This is a genuine, no-frills piece of kit built to the same standards as Napier's rifle rod range, and it fits naturally alongside Napier's cleaning oils, solvents and patches for a complete maintenance routine on a .30-calibre-plus handgun.
