The Napier Protector 4 Game Plus is a padded shotgun slip built for game shooters who want quick, quiet access to their gun in the field. It shares the construction of the standard Protector 4 but adds a quick-release end flap, so you can slide the shotgun out without running the full-length zip the whole way down — handy when a covey lifts and you need to be ready in a hurry. The body is finished in waterproof forest green with high-density foam padding and a soft lining, cushioning the action and barrels against knocks and protecting the woodwork in transit. Inside there is a dedicated pocket sized for a Napier VP90 corrosion-inhibitor sachet, helping keep rust at bay while the gun is bagged between outings. The slip takes guns up to around 52 inches overall, with the end-flap closure also allowing slightly longer stocks to be carried safely. It is a practical, sensibly priced cover for moving a shotgun to and from the peg, the car or the gun cabinet.
