SAKO's Gamehead .22-250 Remington 55-grain soft point is an all-purpose centrefire hunting load well suited to deer stalking, fox control and other small to medium game. The spitzer boat tail bullet features a light jacket over a non-bonded lead core, a design that initiates rapid, wide-diameter expansion on impact — even at reduced velocities at medium range — delivering effective energy transfer without over-penetrating on lighter quarry. SAKO manufactures both bullet and case in-house at their Riihimäki facility in Finland, ensuring consistent powder charges, tightly controlled primer ignition and brass that can withstand reloading. The cartridge leaves the muzzle at approximately 1,100 m/s (3,609 fps), offering a flat enough trajectory for the distances at which .22-250 is typically used in the field. Packed 20 rounds per box.
