Bisley's 90mm scope extension eyepiece is a simple rubber sleeve that fits over the ocular (eyepiece) end of most 1" riflescopes, adding 90mm of length. It's a handy fix if your scope's body is too short to reach the rear mounting point on your rifle, letting you get a compact scope properly positioned without swapping mounts. Beyond the fit, it earns its keep by cupping the eye against stray light: with the extension in place, the only light reaching your eye comes through the scope itself, which helps the eye adjust to make the most of what light is available. That makes it particularly useful for lamping and dusk or dawn stalking, when cutting out ambient glare and light pollution can buy valuable extra minutes of usable shooting light. The flat rear face also makes it comfortable to use if you wear glasses. Being rubber, it can be gently warmed in hot water to soften it before fitting, then left to cool for a snug hold on the scope body.
