The Bisley BJ37 is a spinning-handle pistol cleaning rod and jag made for .44 and .45 calibre handguns. The handle is mounted on a free-spinning bearing, so as the rod is worked down the bore the jag itself turns to follow the rifling rather than twisting a fixed handle in your hand, giving a cleaner pass with a patch and less risk of scoring the bore. It comes complete with the fitted jag ready to take a cleaning patch, and is sized specifically to .44/.45 calibre pistols and revolvers rather than being a generic one-size rod. Bisley is a long-established name in UK gun care, and this rod is built to the standard the brand is known for among shooters who maintain their own handguns properly rather than relying on aerosol cleaners alone. A straightforward, no-nonsense piece of kit for the cleaning bench, well suited to anyone who wants a proper mechanical clean rather than a quick wipe-through.
