A black bullseye sits on a bright orange background, giving strong contrast that's easy to pick up through a scope even at a decent distance. The flake-off surface reveals a contrasting colour on impact, so there's no need to walk downrange to check groups between strings - useful for zeroing a stalking rifle or working through a heavy session of practice ammunition.
