The Härkila Driven Hunt 2.0 GTX is among the warmest boots in the Härkila range, built for stand hunting and driven days in the depths of winter, shown here in Dark Brown. The upper is 2.2mm full-grain leather — robust and hardwearing yet supple enough to stay comfortable through a long day. Its GORE-TEX Duratherm Kelvin membrane combines full waterproofing with an integral insulating layer, keeping feet warm and dry well below freezing. The extra-tall 12in shaft and standard-width last give real support and warmth, and make the boot equally suited to deep snow and swampy going. Underfoot, a semi-stiff Vibram Aftersky Ice Trek sole is designed specifically for grip on icy surfaces, with a shock-absorbing midsole for comfort over long distances, and a moulded footbed cups the foot for extra cushioning. A speed lace system with lace-locks and a soft leather flex panel at the back of the boot make it easy to get on and off. Because of the insulation layer, Härkila recommends going up one size from your usual fit. Designed and manufactured in Europe, it carries a two-year warranty against material or manufacturing defects.
