The Forest Hunter GTX Mid is Härkila's durable, everyday hunting boot for active days in the woods and on the hill, and this pair comes in the willow green colourway. The nubuck leather upper features reinforced stitching for extra durability, yet the boot stays surprisingly lightweight at around 740g per boot. A semi-stiff Vibram sole gives good grip and a medium-stiff platform, while a shock-absorbing midsole and flex points at the forefoot and heel keep long walks over rugged ground comfortable rather than tiring. Waterproofing comes from a GORE-TEX MS Advanced recycled membrane, water-bath tested during manufacture with a further centrifuge spot-test on a sample of production runs, so the boot stands up to wet ground and driving rain. The medium-length 18cm (7in) shaft gives good ankle support without restricting movement.
