The Nosler Partition is the bullet that built the company, and it remains one of the most trusted dual-core hunting projectiles available to UK handloaders. This 7mm (.284in) 150-grain spitzer version uses Nosler's signature dual-core, integral-partition construction: a fully tapered copper-alloy jacket ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth on impact, while the gradual thickening along the bullet's axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward at both high and low velocities. The forward core mushrooms to deliver a devastating wound channel, while the partition wall retains the rear lead-alloy core, which keeps over half the original bullet weight intact for deep, reliable penetration. A special crimp locks the rear core in place, adding the strength needed to resist deformation under the pressure generated by magnum loads. With a sectional density of 0.266 and a ballistic coefficient of 0.456, this heavier spitzer suits medium and larger deer species at extended stalking ranges. Supplied as 50 unprimed component bullets for handloading — this is not loaded ammunition.
