Ambient sound level is adjustable in five steps via large, glove-friendly buttons, and a 3.5mm jack lets you plug in a two-way radio or mobile phone to take calls through the headset. The dual-shell design protects the electronics from sweat while shielding the cups from knocks, and a stainless steel wire headband gives consistent, comfortable pressure over a long day in the field. Powered by two AA batteries for around 100 hours of use, with an automatic power-off after four hours of inactivity to save the batteries, and replaceable cushions and foam liners for hygiene.
