Sierra's 30 Calibre 150 grain MatchKing Hollow Point Boat Tail is one of the most respected component bullets in target shooting, supplied here in a bulk box of 500 for handloaders. Originally developed for 300 metre international match shooting in the late 1950s, it remains a benchmark choice for medium-range precision work in .308 Winchester and similar 30 calibre cartridges. Each bullet is drawn from a thin copper jacket held to tight concentricity and weight tolerances, with a small meplat that lifts the ballistic coefficient for a flatter trajectory and better resistance to wind drift downrange. The boat tail base further reduces drag in flight, and MatchKing bullets as a family have been used to win more target competitions than any other bullet type. This is a component bullet only, supplied loose for reloading — it is not loaded ammunition and contains no primer, case or propellant.
