Nikwax TX.Direct® Wash-In is a water-based, wash-in DWR (Durable Water Repellency) treatment designed specifically for breathable waterproof garments — Gore-Tex®, Sympatex®, eVent®, Nikwax Analogy® and all comparable membraned fabrics. Applied in a standard washing machine at 30°C, the treatment penetrates every part of the garment, reaching seams, tapes and cords as well as the outer face fabric. The DWR cure develops fully on air drying, so there is no need for tumble drying — useful for protecting older or more delicate garments from heat. By leaving a flexible water-repellent coating on individual fibres rather than blocking them, TX.Direct® restores bead-off performance while maintaining the breathability that keeps you from overheating on the hill. Use 100ml per garment; the 300ml bottle treats up to three garments. Always clean with Nikwax Tech Wash® first and allow garments to remain damp before applying. TX.Direct® is non-flammable, PFAS free and water-based — safe for your kit and the environment.
