The Viper Tactical Gen2 Crossteel Face Mask in VCAM camouflage is built as a lightweight alternative to a balaclava or face scarf for anyone working or training outdoors in cold or exposed conditions. A central steel mesh panel sits over the mouth and nose, shielding your teeth and nose from wind, branches and general knocks while still letting you breathe freely and keep a clear sight picture down a rifle scope. The mesh is flanked by soft, MTP-compatible VCAM padded side panels for comfort against the cheeks, and the whole mask is held in place by a four-point elasticated strap system at the back of the head, with buckles allowing the fit to be adjusted. It moulds to the shape of your face rather than sitting rigid, so it stays comfortable through long stalks or extended time in the field. Supplied as one size fits most, it weighs around 100g, making it easy to carry as a spare in a rucksack or coat pocket.
