The Caterpillar Elmore Mid is a lightweight, non-leather safety hiker built for anyone on their feet all day, whether that's on site, in the yard or around the smallholding. The mid-cut grey upper is microfibre and mesh with a moisture-wicking, breathable mesh lining, so the boot stays cool without the weight of a full leather hiker, while a cushioned collar and tongue and a removable, contoured PU footbed keep long shifts comfortable. Underfoot, a cemented EVA/rubber outsole is slip resistant, fuel and oil resistant, and pairs an energy-absorbing heel with a heat-resistant sole unit, all finished with antistatic properties. Protection is properly specified rather than an afterthought: a 200 Joule steel toe cap sits over an anti-penetration, non-metallic midsole rated to a minimum of 1100N, giving the boot its S1P safety classification (ST, S1, P, HRO, SRC to EN ISO 20345).
