The Portwest A140 Thermal Grip is a cold-weather work glove supplied here as a pack of twelve, so there is always a fresh pair in the workshop, the truck or the kit room when the last lot finally gives up. A warm 10 gauge knitted acrylic liner holds heat next to the skin, while the crinkle latex coating on the palm and fingers gives a dependable hold on timber, posts, feed sacks and tools in the wet. Because only the palm is dipped, the back of the hand stays ventilated and the glove keeps the flexibility you need for fiddlier jobs. Portwest certify it to EN 388:2016+A1:2018 with a 1141X mechanical rating and to EN 511:2006 for cold protection (rated X1X, contact cold level 1), with an ANSI/ISEA 105 cut level of A1. Built for construction, refuse collection, transport and maintenance crews, it is every bit as useful for winter fencing, feeding rounds, hedge work and general estate upkeep — bulk-buy hand protection that earns its keep from November through to spring.
