The Antonini Old Bear Xtra Small is Antonini's Xtra Small pattern knife in the Old Bear range, made in Maniago, Italy — the country's historic home of knife-making. At just 150mm overall and 90mm closed, with a 60mm blade and a weight of only 27g, it's a genuinely pocketable everyday knife rather than a working stalking or butchery blade. The blade is W.-Nr 1.4060 stainless steel, finished in black PTFE for extra corrosion resistance and a low-friction, non-reflective finish, and salt-etched with the Old Bear logo. The handle scales are black laminated wood, fitted with a brass safety-ring collar with chemical nickel plating that rotates to lock the blade both open and closed — a simple, robust mechanism rather than a modern liner lock.
