This is the 10" (250mm) spare blade for a G-Man folding pruning saw, sold on its own so a worn or damaged blade can be replaced without buying a whole new saw. G-Man are a long-established Swedish saw maker based in Edsbyn, and this blade carries their usual precision grinding: the 3-edge teeth are ground all the way from tip to gullet at 6 teeth per inch, giving a fast, aggressive cut through branches and green wood. The blade itself is hollow-ground (concave), which cuts down friction in the stroke and helps clear sawdust as you work, and the teeth are supplied hard-point hardened so they hold an edge through repeated use rather than needing re-setting. It is built to fold into a matching G-Man handle and lock securely in both the open, cutting position and the folded, carry position. On a BushWear customer's belt or in a pack it is equally at home clearing shooting lanes, trimming back branches on a stalk, or general fieldcraft cutting work.
