The GANZO G740 is a folding lock knife built for outdoor and field use, from camping and fishing to general country tasks. Its drop-point blade is machined from 440C stainless steel, hardened to 58-60 HRC and finished at 4mm thick, giving an edge that takes a keen sharpen and holds it through hard use while resisting corrosion in damp conditions. The blade runs 9.5cm, long enough for batoning small branches or breaking down game without becoming unwieldy in the hand. Grip comes from textured G10 handle scales, a fibreglass-reinforced composite that stays secure when hands are wet, cold or bloody, with dual thumb studs allowing quick one-handed opening. A positive axis-style lock holds the blade firm in use, and a pocket clip lets the knife ride tip-up for fast, discreet carry. Folded, the G740 measures around 135mm; opened, it extends to 230mm, and at 155g it carries easily without weighing down a jacket pocket or pack.
