Smith's Regal River Fishing Pliers are an angler's multi-tool built to live in a tackle box or on a belt sheath all season. The body is machined from 6061 aluminium with stainless steel jaws, giving a tool that is light in the hand but stands up to salt and fresh water without corroding. Beyond the core plier function — grabbing hooks, straightening rigs, general terminal-tackle work — they fold in a set of dedicated tools: a diamond hook-sharpener groove for putting a point back on a blunted hook, a fillet-knife sharpening slot for keeping a fillet blade working edge, a split-shot crimper, and side cutters for trimming line and light wire. A coil spring keeps the jaws open for one-handed use, and the pliers come with a sheath carrying a belt clip and a removable coiled tether, so they stay within reach rather than sitting at the bottom of a bag. This is a fishing tool through and through, built for the boat, bank or shoreline rather than the workshop.
