The Warren Cutlery No.10 Hard is an interchangeable industrial cutting blade from the long-established American toolmaker, sold here as a tube of six. Each blade measures 5/6" wide by 2 1/4" long, ground to a 15/16" radius, and is made from high-carbon tool steel hardened to Rockwell 60c, then double tempered and hollow ground to a razor edge. That combination of hardness and a fine hollow grind gives a blade that holds its edge through repeated cuts rather than dulling after a handful of strokes, which is why Warren specify their industrial blades for leather, wood, rubber, plastic and vinyl rather than sell them as a general-purpose knife. Fitted into a compatible Warren carving handle, the No.10's curved profile suits detail and curved cutting work - trimming leather for straps, sheaths and tack, paring wood, or cutting gasket and matting material to shape. It is supplied as loose blades only, with no handle or sheath included, so an existing Warren-pattern handle is needed to put them to work. A useful spare-blade line for anyone doing their own leatherwork or bench carving, rather than a finished knife in its own right.
