The Marttiini Condor Skinner is a purpose-built hunting and skinning knife from the Finnish maker Marttiini, and one of the brand's most popular hunting models — it won the hunting knife test run by Finland's ERÄ magazine. The blade measures 11cm, for a total length of 23cm, and is made from stainless chrome steel that holds its edge well and is easy to maintain in the field. The blade's profile is shaped specifically for handling and dressing game, though it also copes well with general carving; it is not intended for splitting bone, and a different tool should be used for that job. The textured black rubber handle and integral finger guard give a secure grip even in wet or bloody conditions, and the knife comes with its own leather sheath.
