The Marttiini Fisherman's Set brings together three purpose-made fish preparation tools in one wooden gift box: a filleting knife, a fish fork and a pair of fish bone tweezers. The knife carries a 19cm flexible stainless steel blade, ground thin enough to follow the backbone and skin of fish weighing 2-5kg for a clean, wasteless fillet, and a textured rubber handle with a finger guard keeps the grip secure even when hands and fish are wet. The fish fork has a 5cm twin-tine head that holds the fillet steady while skinning, and shares the same rubber grip as the knife. The stainless steel tweezers finish the job, their grooved tips gripping pin bones firmly for quick, clean removal. Supplied in a wooden presentation box, the set is equally at home at the cleaning table after a day's fishing or in a home kitchen, and makes a straightforward gift for anyone who processes their own catch.
