The Marttiini Wild Reindeer 13 is a substantial all-round puukko that reflects the Finnish north in both form and function. It carries Marttiini's iconic Lynx blade - developed by Janne Marttiini himself in the 1930s - ground with a blood groove and a slightly upturned tip, and made from 1.4034 stainless steel hardened to 53.5-55 HRC for a durable, corrosion-resistant edge. The blade measures 13cm, a genuine all-rounder for camp tasks, food prep and general fieldwork, and the knife runs to 25cm overall. The handle is shaped from Finnish curly birch and decorated with reindeer antler bone, a traditional combination that gives a firm, comfortable grip; because both materials are natural, the tone and pattern of the handle vary from knife to knife, so no two are quite alike. A leather sheath sized to the blade is included. It is the larger of Marttiini's two Wild Reindeer puukkos (an 11cm-bladed version is also available), and suits anyone who wants a dependable, good-looking all-rounder for stalking, camping or general outdoor use.
