The Helly Hansen Stalheim HT is a technical hiking shoe with the low-slung feel of a trail runner but the support and weatherproofing to handle rougher ground. A fully waterproof HELLY TECH® membrane keeps the foot dry without giving up breathability, while the HH Comfort insole, HH Lite-Frame and HH Arch-Brace work together to support the foot and keep it stable over long distances. HH Pro Guard reinforces the toe and heel against knocks, and the HH Max-Grip outsole is built for traction on mixed, uneven terrain — non-marking rubber that won't mark up floors indoors. Recycled materials run right through the shoe: the lining, laces, webbing, toe box and heel reinforcement are all made from recycled content, and the midsole itself is 30% recycled EVA. At around 420g, it's light enough for fast-paced days on the hill without feeling flimsy underfoot.
