The Bestard Sendero is a lightweight, classic-cut walking shoe built for everyday hiking, hill walking and travel rather than technical mountain use. The upper combines water-repellent split leather (suede) with Cordura fabric and synthetic rubber reinforcement at the toe and heel, giving a soft, flexible fit that still shrugs off light rain and trail grime. Inside, a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining keeps feet dry in wet conditions while staying breathable over a full day's walking. It sits on Bestard's Trail Tech 30 last with a Bestflex 1 super-flexible midsole, so the shoe moves naturally with the foot rather than fighting it stride for stride. A Vibram Tubava and EVA outsole gives stable, comfortable grip on paths and easy trails. At 780g per pair (EUR 42), it's noticeably lighter than a full walking boot, making it a sound choice for day hikes, weekend breaks and general outdoor use where ankle support isn't the priority. A reinforced heel counter and toe cap add durability without adding bulk.
