The Bestard Space Mid is a mid-cut multi-activity walking boot built around Vibram's Vento outsole, which vents air and moisture straight through the sole itself rather than only through the upper. Paired with a full GORE-TEX SURROUND membrane, this gives genuinely all-round waterproof breathability rather than the usual compromise between the two. The upper combines water-repellent suede leather and Cordura with synthetic rubber detailing, built on Bestard's Trail Tech 40 last with a Bestflex 1 super-flexible midsole for a light, natural underfoot feel. The Vibram outsole uses the Megagrip compound for reliable grip across mixed terrain, and a heel pull tab makes the boot easy to get on and off. At 950g a pair (EU size 42) it stays light enough for long days out. Suited to hiking, hill walking, multi-day routes such as the Camino de Santiago, adventure travel and everyday wear, it is sized EU 36 to 47.
