The Hush Puppies Gareth is a men's Chelsea boot in water-repellent khaki suede, cut in the classic Chelsea silhouette - a clean round toe, no laces, and elastic gussets hidden under the smooth suede upper. Rather than the traditional pull tab, it uses a practical inside zip, so the boot goes on and off in seconds without disturbing the fit. Inside, a breathable textile sock and lining help keep feet comfortable over a full day, and a cushion comfort insole adds extra underfoot support. The outsole is a hardwearing TPR unit, and a stitched rand detail runs around the base of the upper, reinforcing the join between upper and sole where boots typically show wear first. It is designed for everyday use rather than occasional best-wear: the water-repellent suede shrugs off light rain, and the low-maintenance construction means it needs little more than an occasional brush to keep looking smart.
