The Hi-Tec Mauna Hiker is a lightweight walking shoe built for everyday trail and countryside use rather than technical mountain terrain. A breathable mesh upper with welded overlays gives structure and support, with a protective toe and heel area added for durability, and a soft padded collar for comfort around the ankle. Hi-Tec's Dri-Tec waterproof and breathable membrane keeps feet dry in wet conditions while letting moisture escape, and an Ortholite Impressions memory-foam footbed adds cushioning underfoot along with anti-bacterial properties. A lightweight, compression-moulded EVA midsole absorbs shock on longer walks, and a nylon forked shank provides torsional rigidity without adding bulk. The durable carbon rubber MDT outsole is designed to grip on both the ascent and descent, making the Mauna a practical, everyday-athletic option for dog walks, hill paths and general outdoor wear in the Grey/Black/Black colourway.
