The Helly Hansen HP Ahiga Evo 5 is the latest generation of Helly Hansen's long-running Ahiga sailing shoe, built for coastal and inshore days on the water. A quick-drying HH Quick Dry construction and breathable HH Max-Vent upper keep feet cool and shed water fast after a soaking on deck, while the HH Hydro-Grip outsole with Storm Siping bites into wet, slippery surfaces for secure footing when the boat is moving underneath you. A generous HH Comfort Insole, together with the shoe's Lite-Frame and Hover-Stride cushioning, gives all-day comfort on long sessions afloat or ashore, and an antimicrobial treatment helps keep the shoe fresh through repeated wettings. Helly Hansen has built the Evo 5 with sustainability in mind: the upper, lining, lace and webbing are largely recycled polyester, and the midsole and outsole both carry a share of recycled rubber and EVA. Finished in Black/White with a secure lace-up closure, it's a practical, hard-wearing trainer for sailing, dinghy work or simply getting about a wet marina.
