VFG .22 cleaning pellets give air rifle and pistol shooters a fast, chemical-free way to clear and polish the bore between full strip-downs. Each box holds 80 compressed natural-wool felt pellets sized to .22 calibre (5.5mm). You load and fire one down the barrel in place of a standard pellet: as it travels, the felt expands to bore diameter and presses into the rifling, following the twist so the whole bore is wiped in a single pass. This lifts out lead fouling, dirt and lubricant residue that rob a barrel of its accuracy, and it does the job with no solvent, brush or rod. Made from pure sheep's wool felt with no chemical treatment, the pellets are kind to the bore and quick to use, small enough to keep in a pocket or pellet pouch for the field. They work well as an end-of-session clean, leaving the rifle ready for storage, and used regularly they help maintain consistent grouping and protect the rifling from build-up. Note these are cleaning pellets for the barrel, not shooting ammunition.
